Who

Elite Performance Dance Camps is inviting all dance team coaches to bring their teams to the best camp the Northwest has to offer.  The founders of Elite Performance are Stacey Jones and Emily Goria, who between them have many years of competitive dance and coaching experience.  The choreographers and teachers of Elite Performance are some of the best dancers in the Northwest and beyond.  We have created Elite Performance in order to provide a specially-designed program to benefit and advance dance teams in the Northwest.

What

The goal of Elite Performance is to prepare dance teams and coaches for their up and coming school year.  We prepare teams with not only the most appropriate updated dance material but we also teach the importance of creativity, stretching, technique, constructive criticism, eating healthy, handling stress, good attitudes, good behavior, team unity and much more.  Coaches will have the opportunity to attend director’s sessions that will teach the latest in coaching a dance team including polishing, choreography, team motivation, and judging in Washington State.  Coaches will also have the opportunity to get to know each other and share their experiences.  Officers will learn how to run practices, how to gain respect from their team members, how much the officers have an impact on their team’s success and will have the opportunity to have open discussions with officers from other teams.

Teams and directors will have the benefit of staying close to their daily classes and activities while enjoying huge ballrooms to hold hundreds of dancers, a comfortable hotel room, outdoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and professionally-catered meals at an amazingly low rate specifically designed for this camp.    Every class will have ice water provided and a comfortable and air conditioned atmosphere which means there will be no classes held outside. 

When

June 30-July 3, 2008 
We know that summers can be extremely busy with family vacations and various group events and other camps.  That is why Elite Performance has decided to provide a camp that begins fairly soon after school is out.   Having summer camp early allows the coach and the team to bond and be well prepared for the school year in September.  It also allows your team a full 9 months to build upon their skills all the way up until State Competition in March.  This makes the jobs of the coach, officers, and team less stressful and more fun.
